Junior Coaching and Training

Junior training at Stirling offers cricket practice and matches for a variety of age groups with the benefit of our high quality facilities. All training is taken by qualified, experienced cricket coaches. We aim to make all sessions fun, as well as pushing the children on a little each week. Health and safety aspects are an integral part of planning and running all practice sessions and matches. In addition to coaching at New Williamfield, the club also works closely with the area Cricket Scotland Development Officer, Tony Phillips, in local schools, offering coaching to both primary and secondary school pupils.

Training and Facilities

The club has some of the best playing facilities in Scotland. As well as excellent pitches, the club also offers artificial practice nets, bowling machines and other top-quality practice materials and equipment.

Training Times

During the autumn and spring, we offer indoor training sessions for ages 7-12 at St Modan's High School on Friday nights from 5-6pm. These sessions aim to provide fun and fitness as well as building up core batting, bowling and fielding skills.
