2018 Senior Awards Night Confirmed for 6th October

2018 has certainly been a fantastic year for Stirling County Cricket Club. The First XI have exceeded expectations (and then some!) this year by finishing 3rd in the WDCU Premier Division when many around the country expected the newly promoted side to go straight back down. The firsts also excelled in the T20 format, going on a superb run to capture the Rowan Cup in a dominant final performance against Kelbourne. Meanwhile, the Ladies section continued to shine, with several County players being involved in the West's capturing of the Woman's Scottish Cup. Finally, the club's Sunday and Wednesday XIs continue to provide excellent opportunities for juniors and more inexperienced players to shine (with the Sunday XI performing fantastically to finish 2nd in the table) and although the 2nd XI had a difficult year and suffered a relegation, plenty of players produced fine performances throughout the year and the team will hopefully find their feet in the lower division.

And now, with all the cricket finished for the year and with a long and dark winter ahead, why not come along to the club's senior awards night on October 6th to celebrate what has been a remarkable season?! The night should be a fun-filled evening and provide everyone the chance to reminisce about recent (and not so recent) glories, look to the future and, of course, find out who the club's 2018 top performers were. Rumours of an appearance from a certain lustrous equine, however, have yet to be confirmed!

As always, the bar will be open and food will be provided during the night. So come down to the clubhouse on October 6th at 1900 and see out the season in style! Full details are listed below:
